Mr. Master serves as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Security Officer. Mr. Master oversees all technology across all areas of the firm including global infrastructure, data management, proprietary software development and information security He is based in New York City.
Mr. Master has 29 years of experience in technology, of which 20 have been in financial services, specializing in software architecture and development, as well as data management. Prior to joining TRG in September 2005, Mr. Master worked in the Global Emerging Markets Trading and Global Custody divisions at J.P. Morgan for 14 years. At J.P. Morgan, Mr. Master and his team were responsible for the development and deployment of a global emerging markets trading system that served front, middle and back office operations. Mr. Master was also one of the first to leverage the internet for pushing real-time information and tools to clients. Mr. Master served as Chief Technology Officer in J.P. Morgan’s Information Products Group within the Global Custody division, focused on the development of proprietary tools in support of trade settlement efficiency, trade cost analyses, and research quality analysis. Before moving into emerging markets, Mr. Master ran Butler International’s first global Micro Computer Technology division, focused on delivering hardware and proprietary software solutions to support a successful global downsizing initiative.
Mr. Master studied Computer Science and Math at SUNY Stony Brook and Farleigh Dickinson Universities.
