Vice President
Taryn Potts is a Vice President and member of the Fund Accounting team serving as Fund Accountant: Private Markets (Africa). She is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Prior to joining TRG in April 2023, Ms. Potts was a Manager: Fund Accounting & Administration for Ethos Private Equity, which was acquired by TRG.
Mrs. Potts completed her articles at Deloitte in their Assurance division focusing on Private Equity clients, which included secondments to Bermuda and Belgium. She then spent 2 ½ years at PWC as a Manager in their Deals Advisory and Transaction Services division where she gained valuable experience in financial and vendor due diligence.
Mrs. Potts is a Chartered Accountant, CA (SA) and has represented South Africa in Hockey at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She is fluent in Afrikaans.
