Director
Diego Parma is a Director and member of the Public Markets team serving as a Senior Trader. He is based in New York.
Mr. Parma has over 25 years of global trading experience on both the buy and sell sides. Prior to joining TRG in February of 2023, he was a proprietary equity trader for over four years at T3 Trading Group. Before T3, Diego was the lead emerging markets trading and operations consultant for the City National Rochdale Asia Fund acquisition for Fiera Capital in New York. From 2014 to 2017, he was the head of trading at Caravel Management where he institutionalized the trading desk and led the team effort on creating the risk framework. He also directed the development and assisted in the implementation of the long-short portfolio. From 2008 to 2013, Mr. Parma was a co-founder and partner at Triogem Asset Management. He was the head of trading and risk at Triogem, a global emerging market long only and long short fund. Prior to Triogem, Diego was the senior emerging markets trader and part of the investment team at Tiedemann Investment Group. He began his trading career on the sell side at Lehman Brothers in 1994 and was the senior Latin America equity trader.
Mr. Parma holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Rutgers College. He has a Series 57 and SIE. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Diego speaks Spanish fluently.
