Mr. Low is a Partner and is based in Singapore.
He has over 30 years of experience in covering global macroeconomics and markets. Mr. Low is responsible for formulating investment ideas with portfolio managers, strategists and equity analysts and developing macro investment themes and investment processes for TRG’s public markets business.
Mr. Low was Advisor to the Economics Policy Group at the Monetary Authority of Singapore from 2020-2022 and worked at TRG from 2005-2020, where he was CEO of the Singapore office and an Executive Committee member. Prior to joining TRG in February 2005, Mr. Low worked for eight years at Merrill Lynch International Bank and was Head of Currency and Fixed Income Strategy from 2002 to 2005. Before Merrill Lynch, he was a Senior Economist for Southeast Asia at J.P. Morgan and at Standard Chartered Bank. He started his career at the Monetary Authority of Singapore in 1987 and held several positions, including Head of the Forecasting Division within the Economics Department.
Mr. Low holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics from the National University of Singapore.
