Managing Director
Mr. Hirzebruch is a Managing Director and member of the Africa Mezzanine Finance investment team. He is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Prior to joining TRG in April 2023, Mr. Hirzebruch was a Partner in Ethos Mezzanine Partners, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ethos Private Equity, which was acquired by TRG in April 2023.
Mr Hirzebruch has extensive experience in across the private equity and mezzanine finance value chain, which he gained is in previous roles as a Partner at Mezzanine Partners (prior to it being acquired by Ethos), a Director at Brait, where he specialized in the packaging, consumer and retail sectors and in Leveraged Finance at FirstCorp Capital Investments.
Mr. Hirzebruch is a CA (SA) having completed his articles at KPMG.
