Vice President
Mr. Black is a Vice President and member of the Africa Private Markets investment team. He is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Prior to joining TRG in April 2023, Mr. Black was a Senior Associate at Ethos Private Equity, which was acquired by TRG in April 2023.
Mr. Black joined the Brait Group in 2018 where he played a key role on various deal teams executing and investing into retail, FMCG and fitness across South Africa and Europe. He joined Ethos when they took over the advisory contract in March 2020. Prior to Brait, Mr. Black was a Corporate Finance Associate at Deutsche Bank.
Mr. Black holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree from the University of Cape Town.
