Assistant Vice President
Mr. Abwoga is an Assistant Vice President and member of the Africa Private Markets investment team, based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Prior to joining TRG in April 2023, Mr. Abwoga was part of the Ethos Private Equity investment team, which was acquired by TRG in April 2023.
Mr. Abwoga has built valuable experience across private equity, venture capital and investment advisory roles after starting his career in FMCG. His deal exposure spans East, West and Southern Africa across the Healthcare, Consumer and TMT sectors.
Mr. Abwoga earned an MBA with distinction from Strathclyde University. He also holds a Business Science degree in Financial Economics from Strathmore University and is a CFA Level III candidate.
He speaks fluent English and Swahili.
