Ahmed El-Saharty serves as an advisor to the Emerging Markets Horizon Equity investment team. He has established TRG's presence in the Middle East and is based in Cairo.
Prior to his role at TRG, Mr. El-Saharty served as an associate at Briarwood Chase Management, focusing on deep value investments in emerging markets. His research experience also includes time as an analyst at CI Capital Asset Management covering the Middle East & Africa region. Mr. El-Saharty began his career at the Rock Creek Group focusing on Emerging markets. He is a member of the Arab Bankers of North America Association (ABANA) and The Egyptian Junior business Association.
Mr. El-Saharty earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Toronto, and a French Baccalaureate from the French International School in Washington, DC. He is a native speaker of Arabic and French.
